What better way to get a sense of what life is like in a city than by watching some videos?

We hope that this growing video collection will help you find out more about one of the best beach towns in Spain. Including why this picturesque city is a far cry from the typical — or stereotypical — image of a holiday destination. We will be working to update it regularly to highlight various aspects of life in Benalmadena.

Sunset over the bay of Benalmadena, known among the best beach towns in SpainPin

A much sought-after coastal destination, Benalmadena lately has experienced an upsurge in popularity, earning kudos as one of the best beach towns in Spain.

And it’s not just because of its obvious appeal as a great vacation place on the Mediterranean with an average of 320 sunny days a year. Increasingly, interest in the city is driven by a different motivation: the goal of finding – and moving to – a better place to live.

The reasons vary. Somebody may be looking for a warmer climate and higher standard of living. Others may be seeking a safer palce or lower cost of living. Still others would want to be closer to cultural, historical and natural landmarks, or be able to travel easily around the country or to other European destinations.
